This is an intense series of four sessions intended to refresh the bidding knowledge of those who have returned to bridge after an absence of several years or who have gaps in their knowledge.  This will be based on the EBU's Bridge For All Beginning Bridge Book 1. A minimum of seven participants is required. There will be a maximum of 10 persons attending each session. We will give preference to those attending all the sessions. We will arrange times to suit the participants.

Session 1: Opening bids at the 1 level, openers rebids and partners responses. How to develop the auction.

Session 2: Opening bids at at the 2 level and higher, openers rebids and partners responses.

Session 3: Transfers, Stayman and Blackwood 

Session 4: Competitive bidding including overcalls, doubles, cue bids and bidding to the level of fit
