^{Forthcoming WWBA Bridge Events}

WWBA Swiss Pairs Event, Bancyfelin Village Hall,  21st September 2025. 

WWBA series of tournaments on BBO suitable for all levels at six week intervals starting on Sunday the 14th September at 7 pm.  Tournaments will be free to WWBA members (by club or direct membership). These are intended to be relaxed sessions for WWBA members playing eighteen boards at eight minutes per board and the ability to call the director for advice about bidding or play.  The sessions will finish by 9.30 p.m. You can play in as many sessions as you like, but you must join BBO (free) and complete the form to register before your first session. The form is on the WWBA website at https://www.bridgewebs.com/westwales/ .  You will only need to register once and don't worry if you haven't got partner.

A  WWBA Inter-Club Teams League  will run from September 2025 to July 2026.  It will take the form of two 10 board stanzas with six or seven matches over an eleven month period, the club with the most VPs becoming the year’s Club Champions (or Champion Club!).  There will be no charge for taking part, the WWBA will need the name and email address of three Club Team Captain as a point of contact. Plans will be finalised at the next WWBA meeting on 22nd August. Details will become available on the WWBA website during August.

The  Porthcawl Congress 2025 will be held at the Seabank Hotel in Porthcawl from the 14th to the  16th November.
