As a result of the Coronavirus outbreak causing Bridge clubs to suspend live sessions, a lot of people are registering and logging onto Bridge Base Online. Here you can play with and against, people of a similar standard to yourself, using the Acol Bridge System.

To start, just Google Bridge Base Online - click on Register then Become a Member. Make up a user name - for compatibility say RHIWMC + your initials (put a number in at the end if this is already used) and a Password etc. You can leave ACBL Number blank. Skill level - usually Intermediate and Country. 

Once in the system - select Solitaire to play against the Computer. But, to get to a table - select Casual - then, All Public and Private Clubs - then Acol Players' Bridge Club. Select Open Tables and you should see tables with familiar user names. Click on Sit! for a table you wish to play on. 

Note that by clicking the People tab, you can add all users you would be interested in playing as Friends.
