Elizabeth Nam

It is with great regret and sadness that we have to inform you of the untimely passing of dear Elizabeth Nam following a short illness. She lit up any room and will be greatly missed. Our sincerest condolences to Arthur and to Elizabeth's family.

Following a private family cremation on Monday, 26th September, there will be a memorial service for Elizabeth on Tuesday, 27th September, starting at 11am, in Cyncoed Methodist Church, Cyncoed Road/Westminster Crescent, CF23 6SE. The service will be followed about midday by refreshments in the Westminster Hall of the Church.

In preference to floral tributes, Elizabeth requested donations to the Cardiff City Hospice charity, who looked after her with care and tenderness in her final days. To that end, Arthur's  daughter, Libby Watson, has set up a 'Just Giving' page which you can access by clicking on:   Just Giving

Or, if you prefer, there will be a City Hospice collection tin located in the Westminster room following the Memorial service.

Congratulations Dan!

The bridge section congratulates bowler Dan Salmon for his amazing achievement in winning two consecutive Commonwealth Gold medals at the 2018 (Australia) and 2022  (Birmingham) games. A Celebration Evening will be held on Saturday September 24th at 7.00pm. Please come along and make it a Club night to remember.
