This year East Wales is hosting the Perry Shield, Spickett Bowl and President's Cup on behalf of the WBU in the Gwent Bridge Academy on the 8th and 9th July. All four Areas are in competition with each other.
The Perry is an Open event and the Spickett is for ladies only. If Pairs would like to support EWBA and be considered for selection, could they please let Jennifer Wardell know by Wednesday the 31st May at ato@ewba.org.uk
Chepstow Archway are providing the Team for the President's Cup, if it goes ahead.

THE WELSH PREMIER LEAGUE - OCTOBER 21-22 AND NOVEMBER 4-5 2023 AT CARDIFF BRIDGE CLUB
The Premier League returns after a long break. We invite teams of between 4 and 6 players to enter this double weekend event. The cost is £400 for a team. This event will be used to select pairs to represent Wales in the CAMROSE TROPHY 2024.

Wales are hosting the first weekend of the CAMROSE on the weekend of 5-7th January 2024. The second CAMROSE weekend is in on 1-3 March 2024 in England.

We had another enjoyable music evening on Friday.
There will be a summer break now until we welcome Gerry Nash, Jimmy Barnaville and guests back on Friday 29th September.
As always, it will be free and open to all.
