We are sad to report that one of our members - David Bromley - passed away on the 17th October following a short illness. David learned to play bridge whilst on a cruise, loved the game, and joined the club in 2018. He was a regular player on Wednesday afternoons travelling in by taxi, train and bus from his home in Bargoed and then, when the club closed, played several times a week online. David was always very appreciative of the welcome and support, such as lifts to the station, that he received at the club. It was David's wish to have a 'no fuss no frills' funeral.
