| 2027 World Teams Game Date and Venue Announced!!! |

While many of you have visited our island we invite you and newcomers to visit our Gem of the Caribbean.
After placing a bid and securing the right to host the World Team Games Barbados is proud to announce they will be hosting the 2027 WTG. More details to come but the venue has been decided as it will be the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre and the full event schedule is still in the works. However, there will be a welcoming cocktail party will be on Monday August 23rd with play starting on the 24th. The final prize giving function will be held on Saturday the 4th of September. Next set of information to follow will be a selection of hotels.

| Guadeloupe wins National Mixed Teams |
 The Guadeloupe National Mixed Team of Janie Grenie, Phillippe Bonnet, Jean Claude Pelletier, Chantal Bistoquet, Sophie Fabbricatore and Phillippe Mathieu defeated the Barbados National Mixed Team of Douglas (Kip) Rotchell, Patricia Cummins, Roglyn Hinds, Neal Rechtman, Errol and Cecile Humphreys. The score was 230 – 172 over 5 x 16 board segments.

| Panama Wins National Open Teams Championship |
 The Panama National Open Team of Angel Villareal, Claudio Varela, Ed Antosz, Romain Jacques, Michael Ranis and Don Dalpe defeated the Guadeloupe National Open Team of Luc Soudan, Phillippe Matheau, Jean Claude Pelletier, Dominique Gerin, Francoise Dufau and Olivier Tolza.
The final score was 191.5 – 188. The Barbados National Team of Douglas (Kip) Rotchell, Patricia Cummins, Errol Humphreys, Cecile Humphreys, Peter Nichols and Rakem Lorde finished third.

| Trinidad & Tobago Wins the National Ladies Teams Championship |
The Trinidad and Tobago National Ladies team of Patricia Howard, Denise Josa, Lisa DeMelliac, Deborah Fletcher, Kalif Howard and Sharon Parmanan defeated the Barbados National Ladies team of Roglyn Hinds, Norma Springer, Amanda Storey and Patricia Greenidge. The final score was 118 – 93.

 The Guadeloupe team of Charles Garnier, Gerard Polez, Phillippe Bonnet, Jani Grenie, Sophie Fabbricatore and Chantal Bistoquet defeated the Barbados team of Jackie Thompson, Neil Rechtman, Clive Hammans, Marcia Hammans and Peter Norville in the finals of the CACBF 2026 National Senior Teams Championship.
