Club Trophy Rules
Millership Cup
The Millership Cup is a two session teams event. It is an unhandicapped event, open to any team comprising 4, or more, players. All players must be current members of the club. If a team fields alternate, or replacement, members in the second session, those alternates must not have played as part of any other team in the first session.
Silver Jubilee Cup
The Silver Jubilee Cup is a single session, unhandicapped, pairs event. Each pair will comprise one "Senior" player and one "Junior " player. All entrants must be current members of the club. Members enter as individuals, with partnerships being randomly drawn on the night via the following scheme -

- Entries split into two equal sections based on accumulated Masterpoints at the start of the year.

- Top half defined as "Senior", bottom half as "Junior"

- Pairings decided by randomly drawing one player from each section.
Brunswick Bowl
The Brunswick Bowl is a two session teams event, open to any team comprising 4, or more, players. All players must be current members of the club. If a team fields alternate, or replacement, members in the second session, those alternates must not have played as part of any other team in the first session. The event is handicapped. The NIBU recommended handicapping scale of +4 to -4 is used, but calculated on performance within the club over the previous year, rather than the NIBU method of Masterpoint ranking only. A link to how this calculation is carried out can be found below.
Danny McDowell Memorial Cup
The Danny McDowell Memorial Cup is a two session, unhandicapped, pairs event. All participants must be current members of the club.
Grand Slam Trophy
The Grand Slam Trophy is an individual event played over four designated nights of normal duplicate. To be involved in the competition, a member must play on at least three of those nights, with three different partners. A players overall score is calculated as the sum of the percentage scores from his best three rounds. The following provisos apply -

- the three scoring rounds must be with three different partners.

- if a player plays with the same partner twice, the first score only will count.

- a score can only be counted if both partners are current members of the club.

Non members are welcome to play on the designated nights, but their scores play no part in the overall competition.
Appleton Cup
The Appleton Cup is a two session handicapped pairs event. It is not currently being competed for.
