Free Beginner Taster Sessions

With the move to learn bridge online we are running a number of free taster sessions on a rolling basis - morning, afternoon or evening.

In the sessions we will use a Google Meets meeting for which we will send you a link via email to enable you to attend. The meeting will probably last about a hour but this may drift on a little depending on questions.

You should download the free Google app prior to the meeting. You can connect to the meeting with just Audio but if you have Video too then that would be preferred.

Google Meets is very similar to Skype but we pay for a corporate membership and find this platform very stable.

In each session we will look at Google Meets and a Coursebox classroom plus give a tour of No Fear Bridge and one of Bridge Base Online, Bridge Club Live or Shark Bridge – all platforms where you can play with and against real people.

We support the English Bridge Union Bridge For All syllabus and your tutor will be Clive Turner, a County Master with over 45 years experience. He is an Associate Member of the English Bridge Teaching Association and a qualified bridge teacher. Clive will provide you with all the Bridge ‘tools’ you will need.
