Introducing the club |
Bromley Novice Bridge Club - run by the one and only Vic - has two sessions of bridge a week on Monday and Thursday evenings at 7pm. On Thursdays, Vic provides assistance and advice if required, so those who have already learnt the basics of the game can start to play at a Club. This is the place for people NEW to the game.
If you have already played duplicate bridge for a couple of years and want to play at a faster pace, then his Monday evening sessions may suit you better. Both sessions are relaxed and friendly and new players are always welcome.
Refreshments are provided
The Club is based at Bromley Methodist Church, College Road, Bromley BR1 3NS. For further details visit the information page
The club is not suitable for those who have not yet had some form of tuition. Guidance on some sources of learning can be found on the useful links page.
As well as playing duplicate bridge there are the occasional teams events and bridge weekends - for more details click on Club Weekends and Events

Club Weekend March 2023 |
There were snow warnings around but the sun came out as usual in Eastbourne for Vic's spring 2023 weekend held again at the View Hotel.
The usual suspects were joined by Kevin and Dave who took Vic's "advice" with good humour!
The winners of the Carol Cup were Liz (South Croydon) and Brenda (Various Clubs)
The winners of the Arthur Teams Cup were Mary and Eileen with Jane and Jenny (South Croydon Bridge Club)
The winners of the Cherry Cup were Tina and Anna (Bromley Novice Bridge Club)
The weekend would not have been such a success without the help of Paul A - Vic's right hand man, Stephen for his Bridge Director's knowledge and organising the Teams event, Joan for transporting the generous prizes, Pauline for taking the photos, Sue - Vic's runner, for distributing the prizes and Paul S.
We all had a most enjoyable time and look forward to October
