Introducing the club
Introducing the club

Bromley Novice Bridge Club - run by the one and only Vic -  has two sessions of bridge a week on Monday and Thursday evenings at 7pm. On Thursdays, Vic provides assistance and advice if required, so those who have already learnt the basics of the game can start to play at a Club.

If you have already played duplicate bridge for a couple of years and want to play at a faster pace, then his Monday evening sessions may suit you better. Both sessions are relaxed and friendly and new players are always welcome.

Refreshments are provided

The Club is based at Bromley Methodist Church, College Road, Bromley BR1 3NS. For further details visit the information page

The club is not suitable for those who have not yet had some form of tuition. Guidance on some sources of learning can be found on the useful links page.

As well as playing duplicate bridge there are the occasional teams events and bridge weekends - for more details click on Club Weekends and Events

Eastbourne 2022

The next weekend is confirmed for the 11th - 13th November 2022 at the View Hotel in Eastbourne. It will again be limited to 11 tables

Club Weekend February 2022

The sun shone brightly at Eastbourne for the Club's first weekend away in 2022. Liz and Rachel celebrated their birthdays, the Club's official photographer, Margaret, was there and a new Cup was presented in memory of Cherry from South Croydon Bridge Club.

The winners of the Carol Cup were newcomers Stuart and Martin.

The winners of the Arthur Teams Cup were Chris and David with Rachel and Paul.

The winners of the Cherry Cup were Olwen and Helen.

The success of the weekend was due to the great help of Vic's lieutenant Paul A and Stephen, who ran the Teams event. Thanks also to David, Paul S and Joan who played a great part.
