| Our Club |
 British Rail is a small club that has been in existence for over forty years. Only in the last few years has it been running a club night at the Spondon premises. In order to make Friday nights distinctive and attract players, who are keen to play team's bridge, the club runs a pair's session which is scored using IMPs. The emphasis is therefore on making and breaking contracts, rather than making overtricks. Friday night is open to all players and does not charge extra for visitors. We particulary welcome novice pairs and there are plenty of 'expert' players present, who are more than happy to give advice and encouragement.
