| Yorkshire League Format |
- There are seven fixtures during the season and we will be playing three of those at home and four away.
- The fixtures are played on a Sunday, generally starting at 14:00 (arrive 13:30 - 13:45) and finishing around 18:15.
- Each team consists of four pairs who play the opposition pairs in four eight-board rounds - 32 boards in total.
- There is a break between each round for scoring up, with a longer refreshment break after two rounds.
- As teams enter from all around Yorkshire, our away trips can vary between being quite local or involve travelling further afield to, say, Ripon, York or Doncaster.
- Our home venue is Huddersfield Golf Club. A cooked meal is provided but, dependent on cost, the trustees may decide to ask home players to make a £10 contribution.
- Otherwise, there is no charge for playing in these matches.

All those who wish to play in the teams, whether regulars or newcomers, please reply to me at keith.stones@ntlworld.com so that we can decide how many teams to enter in the League. You don't need to be available for all the matches, but please indicate if you already know any dates when you are unavailable.
