 Important Membership Renewal |

This year we plan to manage the payment of subscriptions a little differently. These become due on the 1st January for 2026. In the past we have asked for a separate payment to cover the cost but this year we plan to debit members accounts automatically and this will show on your account along with your payments.
We will be debiting all current members accounts unless you advise one of the trustees that you are not renewing your membership with us next year. The cost for membership has remained at £20 for the year.
The above debit will be done early in the new year so please be aware of this and ideally credit your account in anticipation. We hope that all existing members will be renewing.

| June Rajjayabun |
It is with regret that we have been informed that June Rajjayabun passed away on the 19th November. Sincere condolences to her family and friends.
June's funeral will be on 19th December at Parkwood crematorium, Elland and afterwards at the Blackhorse Horse, Clifton. Attendees are asked not to wear too much black, but something tartan if possible.

| Christmas Party |
The party is on Saturday 6th December at Rastrick Bowling Club.
Tickets are £15 and it is open to members, friends and family.

| Yorkshire League |
The third round of league matches were played on Sunday 23rd November. The A team beat Olicana (Ilkley) C 18-2 and the B team beat York E 14-6. The A team were represented by Kevin Hambling Paul Green, Paul Bayley (Capt.), Kate Ogilvie, Les Noble, Barbara Binns and Chris and Pauline Fort. The B team were represented by David Redfearn, Marit Eliot, Kevin Martin, Molly Garner, Gordon Powell, Ingrid Kalicher and Anil and Sabita Aggarwal.

| Who We Are |
We are a friendly and active bridge club based in the centre of Brighouse, West Yorkshire.
We offer a range of social and competitive bridge events, five days a week, for players from beginners to experts.
Our English Bridge Union trained teachers provide beginners and improvers courses throughout the year and we have three teams regularly competing in the regional leagues.
Visitors and new members are always welcome, whatever their standard.

All morning sessions start at 10.00 am and all evening sessions at 7.00pm, unless stated otherwise. Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of playing sessions to give the TD time to set up the computer for a prompt start.
Late arrivals may not be included.
