It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of Terry Crabtree on Monday morning 12th January. As a long standing and cherished member of the bridge club,Terry's prescence at the table will be missed by all who had the pleasure of playing with him. We extend our sincerest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to his family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.

This year we plan to manage the payment of subscriptions a little differently. These become due on the 1st January for 2026. In the past we have asked for a separate payment to cover the cost but this year we plan to debit members accounts automatically and this will show on your account along with your payments.

We will be debiting all current members accounts unless you advise one of the trustees that you are not renewing your membership with us next year. The cost for membership has remained at £20 for the year.

The above debit will be done early in the new year so please be aware of this and ideally credit your account in anticipation. We hope that all existing members will be renewing.

We are a friendly and active bridge club based in the centre of Brighouse, West Yorkshire.

We offer a range of social and competitive bridge events, five days a week, for players from beginners to experts.

Our English Bridge Union trained teachers provide beginners and improvers courses throughout the year and we have three teams regularly competing in the regional leagues.

Visitors and new members are always welcome, whatever their standard.

All morning sessions start at 10.00 am and all evening sessions at 7.00pm, unless stated otherwise. Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of playing sessions to give the TD time to set up the computer for a prompt start.

Late arrivals may not be included.
