and will take place alongsie the Nancy Newell Competition, using a duplicate set of boards

Pre-entry is not essential but to ensure there are sufficient entrants, please sign up on the Club noticeboard in pairs

This competition primarily for our less experienced members and is restricted to players whose NGS grade is BELOW 9

The play will be 'simple systems' meaning
Opening NT means 12 - 14 pts
All 1 level bidding is natural (no strong club, no prepared bids)
Multi-two diamond bid is not permitted
2 level opening bids may be week or strong

This competition is taking place at the same time as the Championship Pairs and both competitions will be playing the same boards.
This allows you to compare boards afterwards!
Please add your names to the sheets on the Club notice board although pre-entry is not essential
