Dunkeld and Birnam CaféBridge Day winners |

Top pair Alison Young and David Shore received the Hamish Smith trophy from Spoons Catherine Robertson with the tournament director Victor Lesk behind.
They also were gifted afternoon tea for two at Dunkeld House Hotel.

Runners up Sarah Gunn and Marina Evans received medals and a voucher for a private sauna session at The Taybank

Third place went to Alan Roberts and James Paterson. They received afternoon tea for 2 at the Royal Hotel.
The Dunkeld and Birnam CaféBridge day on Tuesday 22nd October was in aid of Scottish Charity Air Ambulance.
With 5 venues and 6 transfers, the hundred players could walk over 12,000 paces, or cycle or drive or take a CWA trishaw!
The sun shone and
the path from Dunkeld to the lovely Dunkeld House Hotel was particularly enjoyable! Plus our old favourites, the Taybank, BirnamArts and the Corbenic Cafe were all included.
The winning pair, from London, David Shore and Alison Young received the Hamish Smith Memorial Salver.

Spoons winners at Plockton CB event 2023 |

Shuna Colville and Bob Ross won the Martin Cup at the 2023 Plockton CaféBridge day. Well done! A fantastic performance, ahead of GrandMasters and other top players, they scored 66.16% over the 25 boards.

Medals and vouchers and fresh vegetables! Dunkeld 2023 |
Well done Gill and George Roberts!

The eventual winners, George and Gill Roberts, did the Country route by bike.
The CaféBridge event and the raffle on Tuesday 24th in Dunkeld made over £2200 for Alzheimer Scotland. 108 keen bridge players played 24 games throughout Dunkeld and Birnam. They came from all over Scotland, and London, Dorset and Yorkshire.
Huge thanks to all hostelries and local businesses who supported the fundraising day so well.
Well done to the winners George and Gill Roberts from Findo Gask scoring 69.71%.
Runners up with 68.97% were Sam Punch and Steven Peterkin from Stirling .
And in third place with 65.67% were two Londoners Elaine Howard and Paul Singer.
