This is just a little message from me to alert everyone of what's happening with the Purple Page Club going forward.

As the recording explains Chris and I are 'retiring' to PLAY bridge with the Purple Page Club at the end March, and Dave and Eileen have kindly agreed to take over all the running of the club from then on. Thank you both for agreeing to do this, we really appreciate you being prepared to take on what is quite a big load.

Changeover will happen at start of new tax year 6th April 2026, so it'd be great if when our Purple Pagers are signing up for next block you could do that from 6th April onwards. New bank details are: Mr David Cummins SORTCODE 07-09-76  ACCOUNT No 07020389

PPC players had great fun at this event last year so we're hoping for another good number attending in April 2026.

This Meet & Play takes place shortly after we have finished our set lessons on PPC, so it will give Chris and I the chance to move into our semi-retirement (playing with our friends in the Purple Page club rather than running it).  It will also let us hopefully "Pass the Baton" to those who are going to take over the running of the club from that point.

On the Saturday evening after dinner we'd love to get a chance to get together and  buy everyone a drink while reminiscing over the last few years of fun and games we've shared. We've already booked our room at the hotel, so look forward to meeting lots of you there.
