Inter School Competition

Like any sport, bridge benefits from competition with other clubs. Some schools already arrange after school matches against neighbouring schools. You will be able to see from the list of schools where your competitors may be.

The bridge4schools team organises local events, usually on a Sunday, and these will be publicised in the calendar on this site. We also administer simultaneous pairs competitions run by the English Bridge Union. Simultaneous Pairs, as the name suggests, are played by players across the whole country, all playing the same hands so that comparative scores can be produced.

There is an annual trip to the Young Bridge Challenge held at Loughborough Grammar School every spring which is a lovely day out.
