The Brevard Duplicate Bridge Club’s Advisory Board has approved “Next-Level Bridge Coaching”…wherein those desiring to coach and those wanting to be coached enter into a coach/player relationship. The goal is simply a coach guiding a player(s) toward increasing the player’s bridge skills.
Here are the basics:
Who Are The Coaches? Anyone who indicates their desire to be a coach. (See below.)
Who Are The “Coachees” (players being coached)? Anyone who initiates contact with a person on the posted coach’s list on our website, and the two mutually agree to enter into a relationship.
What Is The Cost? This is entirely up to the coach. Will there be a fee; if so, how much for a specified period of coaching time (half-hour, hour, etc.)? Some coaches may opt to not charge.
Where Will The Coaching Sessions Be Held? This is a decision between the coach and the player(s): what date and time, frequency of sessions, and for how many sessions.
Private or Group Sessions? This is entirely up to the coach. Some may prefer one-on-one sessions; others may like to coach pairs while others may enjoy coaching a full table.
What Am I To Do? Interested Coaches: simply email me (email@example.com) your desire to be
placed on the list of coaches. It is important that you 1) include your contact
information and 2) whether or not you will charge a fee. It might be helpful if you state what that fee is. This will be posted
on our Club’s website under the menu option "COACHES", a drop-down tab under NEXT-LEVEL BRIDGE COACHING.
Interested Players: Log in to our website, click on "NEXT-LEVEL BRDIGE COACHING" and then on the "COACHES" drop-down box for the list of coaches and contact information. Contact the coach you are interested in and go from there.
The arrangements made are totally and completely between the coach and the player. The Advisory Board has simply given approval to this concept and has graciously permitted it to be broadcast to club members via email and posts on our website. Neither the Board nor the Club will have any further involvement in this program.
