 Welcome to the website of the Braunton Bridge Club.
This friendly club is affiliated to the EBU and meets for duplicate bridge on Wednesday evenings at The Christchurch Hall next to The Aggi in Braunton, North Devon.
Visitors are very welcome. Play starts at 7:00pm so please be seated by 6:55pm. The table money of £5.00 for visitors includes refreshments.
We do not operate a host system so please contact Jacqui Munns on 07734 219859 in the first instance if a partner is needed.
As a courtesy to others, please do not attend if you have active symptoms of an respiratory illness.

| Bridge - It's a Big Deal! |
Braunton Bridge Club are supporting the English Bridge Union's Festival of Bridge called Bridge - It's a Big Deal!
This week-long Festival of Bridge runs from Monday, September 9, until Sunday, September 15, 2024. The aim of the festival is to have fun, raise the profile of Bridge and raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
On Wednesday, September 4, at 7pm, Braunton Bridge Club are taking part in the Pre-Festival EBED (English Bridge Education & Development) simultaneous pairs. Everyone is welcome to attend, table money will be £5, with all proceeds going to Cancer Research UK.
On Wednesday, September 11, during festival week, we will have an open house event on our usual club night, starting at 7pm - please invite all your friends and family to come along and try MiniBridge, eat cake and have fun! There will be no charge for this evening but please bring cash for the Cancer Research UK Raffle.

Friday Afternoon Online Pairs on BBO These sessions run on a Friday afternoon at 2pm and will resume on Friday 4th October 2024. We play 16 boards on BBO. Everyone is welcome! If you haven't played before, click HERE for details on how to sign up.
Cancer Research UK Coffee Morning with Bridge - Saturday, September 14, 2024 This coffee morning will take place at the Assembly Halls in South Molton. There will be an opportunity to play Bridge at all levels and complete novices are most welcome to come and try their hand at MiniBridge. Please let all your friends know about this and let's get more people playing! The cost will be £2.50 per person to include refreshments and cake.
Brent Wormald's fifth seminar for improvers will take place at the Barnstaple Library on Tuesday, 15th October, 2024. Brent will provide you with some top tips to maximise your slam potential. More details to and an entry form HERE.
The Matched Swiss Teams for the North Devon Charity Cup will take place at Filleigh Village Hall on Sunday 17th November 2024. Players enter as a pair and will be matched to make up a team. For more details and an entry form click HERE.
