Welcome to the website of the Braunton Bridge Club.

This friendly club is affiliated to the EBU and meets for duplicate bridge on Wednesday evenings at The Christchurch Hall next to The Aggi in Braunton, North Devon.

Visitors are very welcome.  Play starts at 7:00pm so please be seated by 6:55pm. The table money of £5.00 for visitors includes refreshments.  

We do not operate a host system so please contact Jacqui Munns on 07734 219859 in the first instance if a partner is needed.  

Please do not attend if you have symptoms of ANY illness or have had recent contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid. Please note that players attend at their own risk.

An Evening of Relaxed Bridge for Improvers - Every Thursday at 7pm on RealBridge These online sessions are designed for bridge players who want time to chat and discuss the hands after playing them rather than rushing on to the next round. For more details and to sign up click HERE

Improvers Seminar - Tuesday 10th October 2023 The third seminar presented by Brent Wormald will take place at the Barnstaple ​Library, starting at 11am​. ​For more details and to book your place, click HERE.

West of England Congress - Friday 6th to Sunday 8th October 2023 This popular weekend at the Winter Gardens in Weston-super-Mare includes two Green-pointed events. For more information click HERE.

North Devon Charity Cup at Filleigh Village Hall - Sunday 26th November 2023 Players enter as a team and are matched with another pair to form a team for this Swiss style charity teams event. More details and an entry form will appear on the North Devon website soon.

The North Devon Congress - Friday - Sunday, 23rd to 25th February, 2024 This will take place at the Barnstaple Hotel. Details on the DBA website soon.

Congratulations to top N/S pair Paul & Les with 63.39% ahead of Alan & Colin with 56.25%, and to top E/W pair Steph & Nic with 61.61% ahead of Lela & Dave with 50.42%.
