WE HAVE MOVED!

We started playing at the newly-refurbished and most welcoming Englefield Village Hall in February 2024, a move that has been very well received by our players.  Our sessions were formerly held at Bradfield Village Hall (hence the name), the group having been started by a much respected local bridge teacher eager to familiarize his fledgling pupils with club play, and although he has since stepped back from the role, he still maintains a keen interest.

Bradfield Bridge is a friendly, relaxed group that plays Duplicate Bridge, and has been up and running for around 17 years.  We have around 28 regular players but numbers have been growing since the move, mostly because of more regular attendance and returning former players, and with maximum equipment and room for only ten tables, we're possibly in danger of not being able to accommodate everyone.   This hasn't happened yet and we hope we won't have to turn anyone away.  We meet every Tuesday morning, playing from 10am until 1pm, and ask attendees to arrive by 9.50am and be seated so we can set up the boards and start promptly.

For £2pp we also provide refreshments, i.e. tea, coffee, biscuits, etc.

There is plenty of parking nearby, either in the purpose-built car park 200yds before the hall, or on the roadside, and there is a shop and garden centre in the village.
