Grafton, Grand Forks and Winnipeg Duplicate Bridge

Borderline Bridge is dedicated to sponsoring and teaching bridge in the Northern Red River Valley, which borders North Dakota, Minnesota and Manitoba.

Three duplicate bridge clubs are involved: Grafton Duplicate Bridge, Grand Forks Duplicate Bridge, and The Amgassador Duplicate Bridge Club in Winnipeg.

Prior to the arrival of COVID-19, all three had weekly face-to-face games, and we hope to get back to that when the pandemic is over.

The Director of the Grafton DBC is Michael Leighton, the Grand Forks games are directed by Dexter Perkins or Tom Rand, Directors of the Ambassador DBC are Bill and Sue Treble.

Mark Siegel (1949-2020)

Mark Siegel, one of the long time members of Grand Forks and Grafton bridge, died on Saturday, October 10, 2020, of complications related to colon cancer. He was 71 years old.

We are all going to miss him because he was a brick in our clubs. He was always upbeat and had a keen sense of humor. He was also an avid and skillful bridge player who was on the cusp of becoming a life master when he passed away.

The photo above shows Mark (foreground left) playing in Grafton last year.
