 We have successfuly launched BABC Online, our virtual bridge club. We will be playing online bridge on Monday and Thursday afternoons..
There were 11 tables at our first session on Monday 1 June. A very good start.

| How to play online |
Bookham Afternoon Bridge Club will be running two duplicate sessions online per week. These sessions will use a facility which the EBU has negotiated with Bridge Base Online
- Online duplicate sessions will take place every Monday and Thursday afternoon. Sessions will start at 1 pm. You must register not later than 12.50 pm.
- Sessions will initially consist of 18 Boards. Each round will be either two or three boards. Each board will be allowed eight minutes (16 for two or 24 for 3)
- Entry fee (Table money) will be 3 Bridge Base Dollars (BB$) (Approx. £2.50)
- Results will be available at the end of the session on our Bridgewebs Internet page. All the normal hand analysis will be available.
- A partnership facility will be available to pair up individuals without a partner for a session
FOUR STEPS to Online Bridge at Bookham
1. Register with BridgeBaseOnline (BBO). You will be asked to choose a unique User Name which you will need each time you log on to play online. ► How to register
2. Let the club know your User Name (email NeilHiggins958@btinternet.com) NO LATER THAN 6pm THE DAY BEFORE YOU INTEND TO PLAY. Only BABC members (and their guests) who have provided their BBO User Names will be able to play in a BABC session.
3. Sessions are paid for using the BBO currency, BB$. You will need to buy BB$ in advance ► Purchasing BB$
