Bridge is the most fascinating card game in the world. It is a game that you keep learning more about, no matter how long you have played.

Research by the University of California showed that Bridge is fantastic for keeping your brain active as you get older.

Equally it is ideal for younger people who want to play a mentally challenging card game for a change from computer games.

Joining a Bridge Club is also a great way of meeting new people and making friends.

 

Fast Track Bridge 2026
Starting Saturday 10th January
Learn and play in 24 hours

• Twelve 2 hour lessons
• 2 x 2 hour sessions on each of 6 days over 3 weekends
• Delivered over a shorter time than the traditional weekly classes taught over two or three terms

Who’s it for?

• This course is aimed at those students who would like to learn quickly; are capable of learning quickly and progress to playing as soon as they are able.
• Time strapped students who prefer a crash course in a short time period rather than the steadier pace over two or three terms of learning.
• Ideal for returners to get back into the game and regular players who are not familiar with the modern Standard English Acol bidding system.

At the end of the course students should feel confident enough to play in a relaxed or social session of duplicate bridge. Following the course mentored sessions will be available at the club.
