Here is further information about the Bridge Weekend at Cheltenham Park Hotel . Members should arrive on Friday afternoon 13 April anytime after 2.00 pm and be ready to dine at 6.30 pm followed by the first session of Bridge. After breakfast on Saturday you are free to explore the local sights of Cheltenham and a session of Bridge will be held at 2.00 pm. Please let John know if you do not intend to be present for this session so that he can arrange a suitable movement. Dinner on Saturday will be at 6.30 pm followed by Bridge.

There will be a final session of Bridge on Sunday morning commencing at 10.00 am. Members should check out before this session but the Bridge room is available until lunch time. A deposit of £40 per person has already been paid so you have £100 per person balance to pay plus any incidentals you have had over the weekend. The rates include dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings and breakfast (between 7.30 and 10.30 am) on Saturday and Sunday mornings. There is plenty of free parking at the hotel but please do not park in the area around the Clock Tower restaurant which does not belong to the hotel. The hotel is two miles from the centre of Cheltenham. There is a bus stop directly outside the hotel and Reception has copies of the timetable (Service B route). The hotel has a swimming pool and leisure suite which is free for guests’ use. If any members wish to have a beauty treatment it is advisable to book in advance. (tel no above). The Lilleybrook Golf Course is next door and many of the hotel rooms overlook the course.

How to get there

From M5 exit at Jct 11a and follow A417 towards Cirencester.  At the Air Balloon roundabout follow A436 towards Stow-on-the-Wold/Oxford.  After a few miles at the roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A436 then immediately at the 2nd roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A435.  The hotel is situated at the bottom of the hill on the left just past the Lilleybrook Golf Club.

From Fosse Way We have found that the best way to the hotel is via the Fosse Way (A429) which brings you in on the right side of Cheltenham and avoids driving through the city centre. So take the Fosse Way A429 through Stow on the Wold and a few miles on turn right onto the A436. Continue on this road (there is a left and right turn as you cross the A40 near Andoversford). About five miles after crossing the A40, turn right at Seven Springs onto A435. The hotel is situated at the bottom of the hill on the left just past the Lilleybrook Golf Course. The Hotel is in the Charlton Kings part of Cheltenham.
