GENERAL

Whilst visitors are welcome to play on Club Evenings which host the following events, they are ineligible to win any of the Club Trophies.

LATNER TROPHY      (Donated by Mr & Mrs David Latner - 1979)

Presented to the winners of Club Night (after handicap adjustment) on a designated evening (Highest percentage score over a single session of duplicate bridge).   This is a Handicap Event where players are allocated a score adjustment reflecting their average performance over the previous twelve months.

WALKER BOWL       (Donated by Mrs Hilda Walker - 1986)

Presented to the winners of Club Night on a designated evening (Highest percentage score over a single session of duplicate bridge).

CARPENTER BOWL       (Donated by Mrs Muriel Carpenter - 1979)

Presented to the pair having the highest percentage score for four rounds of duplicate bridge (being the average of the best four scores from six designated rounds).

MASTER POINTS SALVER        (Club Championship Trophy - Inaugurated by Committee 1996)

Presented to the player(s) achieving the highest return of Master Points from Club evenings during the season 1st November to 31st October.

ANNIVERSARY TROPHY       (Inaugurated by Committee April 2016 on the occasion of the Club's 40th Anniversary)

Presented to the winners of a designted Club Night in April (Highest percentage score over a single session of duplicate bridge).

GODFREY AWARD     (Inaugurated by the Committee in 2022 in remembrance of Godfrey Young, long standing member, former Chairman, Treasurer and President of the club)

Presented to the member or members who the Committee feels has shown the most improvement over the course of the year.
