Bicknacre Bridge Club Announcement

On December 1st 2020 we sadly lost our Bridge Master and Committee Member, Martin Brandon.

Martin set up and ran the club unselfishly, for over 6 years for many, many dozens of locals to enjoy. He was also a valued Committee Member giving much to the Parish. Martin met Molly his partner, at a Friendship Club lunch 7 years ago and they lived happily together.  Martin's death has left a big hole in Molly’s life and in our Club & Committee.

However, we are determined not to let all Martin's hard work and legacy fade away.

Therefore, we are pleased to announce, once we are out of Lockdown, the Bridge Club will commence again and will be run by Angelina Robinson, in the afternoon, at Bicknacre Village Hall.

Angelina has been a Friendship Club member and Bridge Club member for over 3 years and was welcomed onto the Committee 2 years ago, responsible for Events. Angelina takes a side step away from Events, to be the new Bridge Club Host. Her dedication to Bridge and determination to continue running it for the benefit, enjoyment and friendship it offers, is a joy to see.

During Lockdown she has continued playing Bridge, via the internet.

Bicknacre Friendship Club, welcome Angelina as the new Bridge Club Host.
