New Club President

The Committee would like to express our most sincere thanks to Janet for her excellent service in the two years she was at the helm. They were a particularly difficult two years with several complex issues needing to be managed - not least the impact of Covid-19 restrictions and the need to offer on-line bridge alternatives to our members.  Janet has worked tirelessly and efficiently to ensure the club continues to thrive in these challenging times.

At the same meeting Ken Simpson was unanimously chosen as our new Club President. Welcome to the chair, Ken!

Education
Education and Training at Bendigo Bridge Club

The Bendigo Bridge Club values all its members.  The club tries to provide training for all skill levels to assist its members to improve their bridge bidding and play.  The club believes that improving your bridge can also increase your enjoyment of the game.

If there is an area of bridge that you would like to explore, and it is missing from the club education and training schedule please use the "Contact Us" under the Information menu tab to send in your ideas so the Education Subcommittee can look to include that topic in our forward schedule of training courses, or mentoring/coaching programme.

Due to the uncertainty of COVID restrictions, no beginner's lessons are planned for 2021.

As COVID recovery becomes clearer, some education could be scheduled for improvement style courses, watch the website for developing news
