No resumption of F2F play!

Although the announcements on Tue 27 July removed many of the State's lockdown restrictions, those that remain on indoor gatherings mean that F2F play cannot resume. We expect this to be the situation until, at least, Wed 11 Aug.

The F2F bridge events affected by this have been cancelled or rescheduled - see calendar for details.

The Friday GNOT Heats, originally scheduled for 16/7 and 23/7 have been rescheduled for 13/8 and 20/8. As far as the Monday GNOT Heats are concerned, we've run out of Mondays! BUT (if you have booked for these sessions please take careful note) they have been rescheduled for Mon 16/8 and WED 18/8 . Yes, Wednesday afternoon! We hope you will be able to play at both sessions.

Existing bookings for these GNOT events have been carried over to the new dates. Please check your diary to make sure you are able to play.

BBO online events will be organised to replace cancelled F2F Monday and Friday Club Pairs events.

As always, the Covid regulation situation is very fluid. Please regularly check this web site for updates to our playing schedule and conditions.

2019 News
Whoo Hoo the Ashes return home in 2019!
Whoo Hoo the Ashes return home in 2019!

2019 sees the Ashes return home to Bendigo once more.  Our heroes, Sue Napier and Margaret Smart can't contain the smiles at their triumph.

Ballarat were wonderful hosts as usual and were very galant in defeat,  The Ashes has this traditional rivalry, but the day is all about meeting our long time friends at Ballarat and enjoying the day.

This tradition goes back to the 1990's and is a highlight of our calendar each March.

Put March in your calendar as a day not to be missed each year if you have not experienced this day of fun and fellowship across the bridge table.

Another successful year for our club, celebrated at the Schweppes Centre

Once lunch was enjoyed and presentations of awards made a large contingent settled down to a social game of bridge organised by Lorraine Griffiths.

Special thanks to Sue Napier for photos of this event.
