  Bridgemate Functions
Bridgemate Functions
Bridgemates provide the capability of displaying an overview of the scores of other pairs after E/W has accepted the score for a board. These can be presented in six different formats.  When Bridgemates were introduced this was turned "ON", however the Committee considered that this feature was slowing play unduly and resulting in discussion audible to players still to play the boards.
After a 3 month trial, the Committee has resolved that the review function on the Bridgemates which displays an overview of scores be disabled, with the function which shows ‘achieved percentage’ to be enabled, provided however that the Director has the discretion to activate any function for a particular event
As an aid to players to self-manage timing, a digital display may be activated, again with the Director to have the absolute discretion as to whether it is utilised.
