Learn to play bridge with Beckenham Bridge Club

Our next Beginners course will start on Monday 28th September 2026,

running for 30 weeks over 3 terms on Mondays from 4pm to 6pm at:

The Richmond Room, Beckenham Methodist Church, Bromley Road, Beckenham, BR3 5JE,

at a cost of £250 (including the course manual).

We follow the first year of the “Bridge-For-All” programme from English Bridge Education and Development (EBED), using the ‘ACOL' bidding system.  Each class consists of a presentation and exercises on the topic of the week and then, after the tea break, a few hands of bridge to practice what you have learnt.

You don't need a partner and you don't need to have played bridge before. The course caters for everyone from complete beginners to people who used to play and now want a refresher course.
