Learn to play bridge with Beckenham Bridge Club

Our new Beginners Class starts on Monday 7th October 2024.  The class will run for 3 terms of 10 weeks each ending in June 2025 following the course set out by the English Bridge Union (EBU) and English Bridge Education and Development (EBED). 

The Beginners Class costs £250 and the cost includes a copy of the EBU Red Book used for teaching the course.  By arrangement the cost can be paid in 2 instalments - one at the outset and one in early 2025.

Teaching on the course will be delivered by EBED qualified teachers with considerable experience in teaching bridge.  Each class consists of a 'powerpoint' presentation, with the teacher talking you through the topic of the week, and exercises followed by a play session to try out what you are being taught.  So some hand in hand teaching and playing bridge with cards in your hand right from the start.
