Learn to play bridge with Beckenham Bridge Club

Our next Beginners course will start on Monday 28th September 2026,

running for 30 weeks over 3 terms on Mondays from 4.15pm to 6.15pm at:

The Richmond Room, Beckenham Methodist Church, Bromley Road, Beckenham, BR3 5JE.

The course costs £250 (including the manual).

We teach the first year of the “Bridge-For-All” programme from English Bridge Education and Development (EBED), using the ‘ACOL' bidding system.  Each class consists of a presentation and exercises on the topic of the week and then, after the tea break, we play bridge.

You don't need a partner and you don't need to have played bridge before. The course caters for everyone from complete beginners to people who have played before and want to improve their knowledge of the basics.
