Beauchief Bridge Club, Sheffield

Beauchief Bridge Club is a friendly club in Sheffield offering EBU duplicate bridge sessions "face to face" on Monday evenings, and online on Thursday evenings.

Monday sessions are at Norton House Country Club, Sheffield. We typically play around 24 hands, at a moderate pace.

Thursday sessions are on-line via the BBO platform and attract a BB$4 charge. Club members and friends are welcome to play. Full details here.

Norton House is situated near the Meadowhead roundabout on the southern Sheffield ring road, it has lots of free parking and disabled access. It's close to the Chesterfield link road, and with good links to the Peak District. We have members who come from Rotherham, Doncaster, Matlock and beyond.

The club holds special events throughout the year, at local venues such as Whirlowbrook Hall and Sickleholme Golf Club.

YCBA and the EBU are also offering a variety of face-to-face bridge events and online bridge events.

Following the sad news of Peter's sudden death, the funeral will take place at Hutcliffe Wood on Tuesday 10th February at 12.30, followed by a wake at the Union Pub at Nether Edge.
