The Murli Deora Memorial Championship will be conducted by the BCBA on Thursday, 30th November, 2023. Folowing are the salient details

Format

The event will be held in two sessions of 24 boards each.
Scoring will be IMPs

Prizes

1. Rs. 20,000 + Trophy

2. Rs. 15,000
3. Rs. 10,000
4. Rs.  6,000
5. Rs.  5,000

Special Prizes of Rs. 4,000 each for

• Best Ladies Pair
• Best Mixed Pair
• Best Bombay Gymkhana Pair

Special Prizes are subject to a minimum of 5 pairs participating in the category
Any pair is eligible for 1 prize only

Eligibility

Entry is restricted to 

1. BCBA Members whose annual subscriptions are up to date as of 31st October, 2023.

2. Members of the Bombay Gymkhana Club

Entry Fee

The entry fee for the tournament will be Rs. 1,000 per pair. This will actually go towards the cost of providing catering services for the event.

Due to venue limitations, entries are restricted to 44 pairs on a first come first served basis.
