NEW BLUE BOOK

The EBU have announced the publication of a new Blue Book which becomes effective from 1st September.

There are changes to

  • Rules on announcements
  • Rules on strong opening bids
  • Rules on non-strong 2-bids and 3-bids (at Level 4)

In addition there are also new Alerting and Announcing rules which can be found at :-

New Alerting and Announcing Bidding Rules

It is recommended that clubs should advise their members of the new rules and

club directors should make themselves familiar with the three main changes.

Alternatively, entries may be made by completing and submitting the Entry Form as instructed in the event leaflet, or by email, post or telephone (listed in order of preference) to the Event Organiser.    If done by these latter means the entry should give the name and date of the event together with the same information as on the form below.

Please use the form below to submit your entry for the B&BCBA Green Pointed Swiss Pairs event to be held at Windsor on 24th June 2023 starting at 11:00.

List BOTH of the intended Players in the "Players" box in the format    John Smith, Jane Smith

Master Points are direct credited.     Please enter names and EBU numbers in the "EBU Numbers" box for any players who are not B&BCBA members.     Eg.   John Smith 123246;  Jane Smith 123457

The "Special Requirements" box is to be used:  a)  to request special requirements (disabled requirements, stationary table etc.),   or b)  to notify subsequent changes to a previous entry (chang players, withdrawn the entry, etc.).

On clicking the "Submit Entry" button, an email will be sent to the GP Event Organiser and an acknowledgement copy will be sent to you.
