NEW BLUE BOOK

The EBU have announced the publication of a new Blue Book which becomes effective from 1st September.

There are changes to

  • Rules on announcements
  • Rules on strong opening bids
  • Rules on non-strong 2-bids and 3-bids (at Level 4)

In addition there are also new Alerting and Announcing rules which can be found at :-

It is recommended that clubs should advise their members of the new rules and

club directors should make themselves familiar with the three main changes.

CLUB PAIRS FINAL - WALLER BOWL 24 APRIL 2022

 

 

WALLER BOWL PAIRS FINAL

 To be held on Realbridge on the 24th April 2022 at 1:30 p.m.

To assist in planning the event, entries should be submitted as soon as possible.

Entries for this event MUST be received via Bookwhen by 5:00 pm on the day BEFORE the event.

The entry fee for this event is £5 per player

A list of entrants will be updated every 48 hours and can be accessed by clicking the box below.  
Later entrants may still be accepted, but they should phone the Event Director on the County mobile (07401 079752) after 8:00 am on the day of the event.

 The above number should also be used in the event of a late cancellation.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT

Booking in to Berks & Bucks Events

Berks & Bucks County events use the “Bookwhen“ online system for entering an event and paying the entry fee online.

Events with an entry fee

Start with the "Select" button and enter the number of tickets (1 for just you or 2 for you and partner)
Click on "View Selections" and then "Book Now". Enter your email address in the "Booker details" box for payment purposes. Click "Continue".
If you are booking for yourself, enter your name as 1st attendee. If you are booking for someone else and the 1st attendee is not you, click "Change Attendee" and enter their details.
Please also add your partner's name in the box provided so that we know pairings.
If you are booking for you and your partner, click "Add another attendee" and add their details as the 2nd attendee ( no need to add partner name a second time ).
Click "Continue"
You will now be taken to the payment section. Click "Pay by card" and enter your card details.
When the booking is completed, you (and your partner if you have booked for two) will receive a confirmation e-mail.

If the event is online on the RealBridge platform then the confirmation email will include the RealBridge player’s link. Use this link to login to the event on the day.
