ABOUT OUR FRIENDLY EVENTS |
These friendly events are aimed at players who would not normally compete in county competitions.
They are designed for regular and less experienced club players to play in a friendly and relaxed county environment.
We make special efforts to ensure that the events take place in a friendly atmosphere and so, no matter how inexperienced you feel you are, you can be sure of a warm welcome.
The Pat Husband Trophy is only open to pairs with a rating of Jack or less on the date of registering on the B&BCBA website to play in the Tournament.
The Tessa Templeton Memorial Trophy is only open to pairs with an NGS rating of 7 or less on the date of registering on the B&BCBA website to play in the Tournament.

WHAT IS LEVEL 2? |
In order to make this event more "friendly", playing conventions are restricted to Level 2. Most likely this will not affect less experienced players. But more experienced players will not be allowed to play some of the more "aggressive" conventions. A "Multi 2-Diamond" opening is an example of such a convention - but there are other restrictions.
Click on this panel for a summary of Level 2.
