NEW BLUE BOOK

The EBU have announced the publication of a new Blue Book which becomes effective from 1st September.

There are changes to

  • Rules on announcements
  • Rules on strong opening bids
  • Rules on non-strong 2-bids and 3-bids (at Level 4)

In addition there are also new Alerting and Announcing rules which can be found at :-

New Alerting and Announcing Bidding Rules

It is recommended that clubs should advise their members of the new rules and

club directors should make themselves familiar with the three main changes.

EVENT CANCELLED DUE TO LACK OF NUMBERS

   Swiss Pairs for the Denys Jenkins Trophy,
 to be held at Windsor on Sunday 20 November 2022 starting at 1:30 pm

 

To assist in planning the event, entries should be submitted as soon as possible.
Entries for this event MUST be received by 6 p.m. on the 18th November 2022

The cost of this event for each player will be £5.00 - Payment by Direct bank transfer (full details below)

 If you find you are unable to play on the day or are delayed please phone the Event Director on the County mobile (07401 079752) after 8:00 a.m. on the day of the event.  

The above number should also be used in the event of a late cancellation.
Players turning up at an event unexpectedly will not be guaranteed to be allowed to play.
