The EBU Masters Pairs - a national competition for the Ann Staveley trophy!

Berks and Bucks Bridge Association is hosting a heat for this event on the 22nd February 2026. There will be two short sessions (36 boards total). Play will start at 1pm and should finish by 6pm the event will be played on RealBridge and the players link will be shown on this website

Green Points are awarded throughout, both for session results and for final ranking. Session awards go to the top 1/4 of the overall field based on the session scores alone. In addition, ranking points go to the top 1/2 of the overall field based on the two-session total score. Session awards and final ranking awards are cumulative. The results will be stratified.

Level 4 agreements are permitted in this event.

This event is open to players below the rank of Regional Master. This includes: Local Masters, Club Masters, Area Masters, District Masters, County Masters, Masters, Advanced Masters, Star Masters, Tournament Masters or Premier Masters..

The entry fee is £16 per pair. 

 

 To assist in planning the event, entries should be submitted as soon as possible.

*** Entries will be reviewed on 17th February and the event will be cancelled if there are insufficient entries ***

Entries for this event MUST be received  by 5:00 pm on the day BEFORE the event.

The cost of this event for each player will be £8.00.

We expect a finishing time of 6:00 pm with 36 boards.

Later entrants may still be accepted, but they should phone the Event Director on the County mobile (
07401 079752) after 8:00 am on the day of the event.

Players turning up at an event unexpectedly will not be guaranteed to be allowed to play.

The above number should also be used in the event of a late cancellation.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT

 Payment for all B&BCBA events needs to be made by direct bank transfer as soon as you have registered by using the entry form below.

Only one person of the partnership should register and pay for both players.
