| TOLLEMACHE CUP |
The inter-county Tollemache Qualifier took place on RealBridge on 8 and 9 November 2025.
Heartbreakingly, we failed to qualify for the final of the Tollemache by a single VP (although we would have lost the split tie). We were in the tougher group but in contention throughout as it was a very close event and 3rd to 8th were only only separated by 11 VP, and going into the final match it was even tighter. Thanks are due to Peter Hawkes who stepped in for two matches as two of our team had Memorial day duties on Sunday morning and of course to Mike Perkins who captained the team faultlessly, whilst also playing.
The team was - Mike Perkins (Captain) & Ian Reissmann, Dee Lindon & Peter Lindon, Ed Scerri & Gary Jones, Dick Davey & Nigel Wolfendale, Steve Eginton & Bill Souster, Peter Hawkes (standby)

| HP Plate |
At the end of a close-fought 48-board match, played against the Bakshi team at TGR's club in London, Carole Mueller's team was victorious in the final of the Hubert Phillips Plate KO. Pictured, left to right, are Herb Mueller, Chris Mooney, Carole Mueller and David Perkins.
A side note is that David Perkins was 92 this week, so he must be one of the 'more senior' winners of a national KO tournament, if not most senior!
