Our games begin Tuesday, September 15:

1:00 p.m. — Gentle Bridge (0–20)
6:45 p.m. — Open Pairs

The schedule continues Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, with games at 12:30 p.m.

Many of your fellow players have been working behind the scenes to prepare the new space, and we couldn't have done this without them. We are very grateful for all their time and help, and we look forward to welcoming everyone to our new home!

New Beginnings Require a Review of our Expectations:

The Bridge Club Aurora-Newmarket strives to provide a pleasant, friendly environment for all players to enjoy the game of duplicate bridge. We adhere to the general principles of bridge etiquette and codes set by the Canadian Bridge Federation (CBF) and American Contract Bridge League (ACBL). Expected Behavior: Anything that makes bridge more enjoyable for others.

1. Greeting others in a friendly manner at the start of each round.

2. Being a good “host” or “guest” at the table.

3. Making available two clearly completed convention cards.

4. When calling the Director, please remember to ask nicely. “Director, please.”

5. Respect your Director, opponents, and partner.

• Watch for information about new lessons and games
• Our summer NAP qualifying games are now complete.  https://web2.acbl.org/documentLibrary/play/NAP_Qualifiers/NAP_D2.htm The next step will be to play in the online game scheduled for Saturday November 21, 2026.  This is an online competition.  Work with your partner to hone your skills before that competition.

When Licia and Colin discovered at the bridge table that they would both be travelling in Belfast at the same time, they made plans to meet at a local pub while they were there. Can you guess the pub's name?

Aurora Bridge Club—making friends and meeting up around the globe!

The Bridge Club Aurora-Newmarket is part of a large group of bridge clubs in North America offering the same bridge hands at the same time to all players at these clubs.  This means:

•  Our players' results will be compared with results from over 1000 clubs in North America playing pre-dealt hands from the Common Game
•  Players who have their email addresses registered with ACBL will receive results
•  Hand analyses by various pros are provided
•  Personal Play Analytics - players will have access to personal play analytics on their personal page which includes declarer play vs dummy play statistics
