According to The Bridge Club Aurora-Newmarket By-laws, notice of an Annual General Meeting requires three-week notification.
An Annual General Meeting is hereby called for 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, Thursday, October 15th
Location: The Bridge Club, Aurora-Newmarket, 15900 Bayview Ave.
Lunch and Game to follow.
October Happenings: Mark Your Calendars...It's a Busy One!
October 7th Media Day at 11:00
- Followed by Open Game at 12:30
October 13th at 1:00 pm Erin Berry Rookie/Master Game Canada Wide
- Anyone with fewer than 50 mps is welcome to register with Denise Donovan.
- Match guaranteed.
- Awards National, Zone and Club Winners
- After each Rookie-Master game, participants receive expert analysis of the hands played during the session.

The Bridge Club Aurora-Newmarket strives to provide a pleasant, friendly environment for all players to enjoy the game of duplicate bridge. We adhere to the general principles of bridge etiquette and codes set by the Canadian Bridge Federation (CBF) and American Contract Bridge League (ACBL). Expected Behavior: Anything that makes bridge more enjoyable for others.
1. Greeting others in a friendly manner at the start of each round.
2. Being a good “host” or “guest” at the table.
3. Making available two clearly completed convention cards.
4. When calling the Director, please remember to ask nicely. “Director, please.”
5. Respect your Director, opponents, and partner.
Let's all do our best to make this "New" club outstanding!
