D. Agreement on Results of Play

A player should not disturb the order of his played cards until agreement has been reached on the number of tricks won. A player who
fails to comply with the provisions of this Law jeopardizes his right to claim ownership of doubtful tricks or to claim (or deny) a revoke.

Sue and Kay STaC up Silver

Congratulations to Sue Mossholder and Kay McClain for placing SECOND overall in Thursday's Royal STaC Game. They were a mere 0.01 percent out of first place! But they still earned a whopping 14.62 Silver! Woo Hoo! What a day it was!

An Ode to Larry

Well, here we are in a spirit of light

To say farewell to the President at right.

He’s been in office for many a year,

And so sad we are that we’ll shed a tear…

His leaving is sad but joyous for him

As we often pulled him from limb to limb.

A constant eye he has kept on this club,

Managing everything needed, especially the grub.

We’d call him austere if it were allowed,

But we’ve now got more money in this little crowd.

President, Director, partner and more

We wonder if you plan to just run out the door.

We know a tough crowd you’ve had to endure,

As we have many faults but nary a cure.

The room is too cold, no it’s hot some would say

But basically, that complaint only came from Kay.

Never happy with results or the Director’s call,

We seemed to think Larry had a cure for it all.

Texts and phone calls arrived in abundance

But we each wanted his attention and indulgence.

Sorry to leave? I doubt that is true.

The loss will be ours no doubt - Boo Hoo.

So, as we move forward he’ll ask one favor

serious it is and oh, so much graver.

Please open this package and share with the room;

It expresses your feelings and brings us much gloom.

We will try to respect your new club status

of merely a member who just plays with us gratis.

But I fear we are spoiled by your ease of access

that we might force you to simply take up chess.

You handled the queries, requests and complaints

So well we’ve decided that you must be a saint.

We thank you so much for all that you’ve done;

Your time is a gift that matches no one’s.

So, step down now and enjoy your free time

I’ve run out of words and have nothing to rhyme.
