UserIDs Can I have multiple user IDs and security restrictions to the profile? I have a volunteer that is purely Memberships. Would like to give her access to the Member section to complete updates, but do now wish to provide updates for anything else. Is there a limit to the number of IDs?
- On her member record (Membership > List Members > click on her name), at the bottom of the page there is a section of Admin Groups. Ticking these will give her administration of just the areas selected (though this will require her logging in to the Member Area ...)
Member area: We do not use this area as yet. Curious if most clubs do/do not use this area? Do you have an elegant way to onboard members into this area and have them create their password? Is there an elegant way to have members update their personal information?
- Yes, many clubs use the Member Area. If a user goes to this (and they are not already logged on) they will see a login page athat includes a 'Set/Rest' password; provided they use an email address that matches one on the members database then they can set their own password. Once logged in, the 'Account' tab allows them to maintain their account details.
CRM I believe Bridgewebs integrates with ACBLscore. Is there a convenient way to gather player demographic information such as:
- last time a player played at our club?
- frequency of play?
- demographic information (age, gender)?
- Postal code?
- We do not gather this information from ACBL? We do have our own record of 'Last Played' (Members > Last Played)
Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) compliance is a goal within Ontario. I see that the bottom of Club emails has an OptOut feature... excellent. Is there an easy way to message members (150) and have them OptIN?
- the Membership records have some opt-in flags including one to opt-in/out of emails from your BridgeWebs emails. (You can administer these and also members can maintain these themselves via the 'Account' tab in the Member Area (see above). Each email sent has an option to 'Unsubscribe' - this is different and tells our email provider that they do not want to receive emails from any BridgeWebs site/club. You would use the Membership > Email Members utility to send messages to the membership (though this is problematic if thy have already opted-out or unsubscribed.
I hope this helps.
