21st Oct - 3rd Nov 2024: Our congratulations to Ed Scerri who played as a member of the England team in the Seniors event of the World Bridge Games held in Buenos Aires, Argentina with partner Malcom Pryor.  Although not reaching the knock-out stage of the team's event, Ed was narrowly pipped in the Open Pairs Final into 2nd place, losing by 4MPs.  Ed and Malcolm were the only English medalists.

2nd and 3rd November 2024:    Club members were well represented in leading positions at the Berks and Bucks Congress.

Swiss Teams:  1st. Dee and Peter Lindon + Celia and Derek Oram

3rd.  Nigel Wolfendale and Dick Davey (with Bob Holder and David Owen)

Swiss Pairs:  2nd.  Carole and Herb Mueller

                                               3rd.  Dick Davey (partnering Paula Hopkinson).

17th and 18th August 2024:  Congratulations to Celia and Derek Oram for their success at the Oxfordshire Congress on 17th and 18th August 2024 as members of the winning team in the Swiss Teams and finishing joint 3rd in the Swiss Pairs.

4th April 2024:  Congratulations to Dee and Peter Lindon, and Ed Scerri (partnering Steve Eginton) who won the County Knock-Out Teams Championship for the Crowhurst Quaich.

The team will go on to represent Berks and Bucks in the Pachabo Cup in June 2024.

26th Mar 2024:  Congratulations to Dick Davey, Phil Thornton and Nigel Wolfendale who were members of the team (along with David Owen, Bill Charlwood and Bob Holder) on winning the Gold Cup Silver Plate.

18th Feb 2024:  Representing the Amersham Bridge Club, congratulations to Dick Davey and Nigel Wolfendale on winning the County Waller Bowl with a score of 67.32%.

2nd Dec 2023:  Congratulations to Dick Davey partnering Paula Hopkinson (Thame) who finished second in the Middlesex County Swiss Pairs.

25th June 2023:  Congratulations to Dick Davey who (along with Bob Holder, David Owen and Bill Charlwood) won the BBCBA Swiss Teams playing for the Richard Palmer Memorial Trophy.

23rd Apr 2023: Congratulations to Dick Davey & Nigel Wolfendale with Herb & Carole Mueller on winning the BBCBA Committee Cup.

2nd Apr 2023:  Congratulations to Nigel Wolfendale who finished 5th in the EBU Portland Pairs partnering Paula Hopkinson of Thame Bridge Club.
