We are sorry to announce that Dennis Thompson died on Tuesday, 1st December. Dennis was a long standing member of our Keymer club. He was a gentle man and a better player than he thought himself. He will be remembered for his smile and his gentle ways and is sorely missed. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.

Maureen, winner of Keymer's Summer Salver in 2012, was forced to give up her bridge over a year ago due to her failing health. She had been a member of our club for a relatively short time, but will be remembered for her calmness and the quiet way she scolded her partners. She will be sadly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this difficult time.

It is with great sadness that we announce Dudley's death which occured on the morning of Monday 27th October.
Dudley had been fighting cancer for many months and will be sadly missed.
He was a relatively recent addition to our Keymer club, but fitted in from his first visit a few years ago. Since then, we have enjoyed his humour and banter while he and his partner thrashed us all at the table!! Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, children and family at this difficult time

It is with huge sadness that we record the death of
June Rivett (Keymer) in the early hours of Sunday morning (17th March).

June was always a very bubbly member of our club, always smiling and thoroughly enjoyed her bridge. Her death comes as an immense shock to all of us who knew her. She will be much missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her daughter and family at this very distressing time.

It is with sadness that we announce the death of Bobbie Plowman who passed away peacefully on Sunday 5th December, in St Peter and St James Hospice. Bobbie was a member of the Keymer Club for many years and was always cheerful despite her poor health. Our thoughts are with her family at this difficult time.

Bobbie's funeral is taking place at Woodvale Crematorium on Friday 17th December at 2.30pm. Family flowers only please, donations to St Peter & St James Hospice.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Eastwood at Patcham Nursing home in the early hours of Tuesday 8th December a few days after her 92nd birthday. Peggy had been very poorly for the last few months of her life and our thoughts are with her family.

A service to celebrate Peggy's life was held on Tuesday 22nd December at Woodvale Crematorium,  Brighton with a reception afterwards at Preston Park Hotel.
