Welcome to Adur Valley Bridge Clubs
Duplicate Bridge ... morning, noon and night!
Duplicate Bridge ... morning, noon and night!

Visitors and new members are always welcome. All but one of the Group's clubs are EBU affiliated and all operate a host system, so even if you do not have a partner one week, come along - we guarantee to provide you with a partner. Sessions are played in a friendly, competitive atmosphere where all players are welcome whatever their level of duplicate club bridge experience.

Peter Picthall (Storrington)

It is with great sorrow we hear that Peter passed away on Thursday 13th February. As many of you will know, Peter spent the last few weeks of his life at St Barnabas Hospice in Worthing tackling the cancer which had thwarted the last months of his life.

We will remember him for the 'life and soul of the party' approach he constantly gave to his partner and the opposition, while always taking his playing of the game extremely seriously. Peter was always ‘up for a laugh’ and was, as he would say 'nearly always' generous enough to laugh or chuckle at any joke or jocular remark he heard. There will be a large (in his words: perhaps not that large) hole at the Storrington sessions with his passing.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his daughters Chez and Audrey and with the rest of his family at this difficult time.

Any further information we receive will be posted here.

Storrington results 10th February

Those of you who played at this session will be aware of complications that arose.
The results are still under review and will be uploaded just as soon as a solution is agreed
