Play and Learn
Would you like to enhance your bidding, playing and defense bridge skills? A Play and Learn game is an excellent way to accomplish this. You even have an opportunity to earn masterpoints in these ACBL sanctioned games.
The fee is $5 for on-line and F2F play.
The BBO game combines playing a hand on Bridgebase (BBO) with a Zoom discussion by an Adobe instructor.
The fee is $5, paid on BBO when you sign-in for the game. For each game, the timer is set at 12 minutes per board with either two or three boards per round. These 12 minutes will include time for play and discussion of each hand. The discussion takes place at the end of each hand.
To find this game, go to BBO, on the home page select Virtual Clubs, and you should see the game listed two hours ahead of the game start. If you need a partner, click the game name and you can add yourself as needing a partner - or selecting one if someone is already listed as needing a partner. If no partners are available you can select a Robot to play with - but wait to do this at the last minute in case someone else needs a last minute partner.

Face-to-face Play and Learns are for players with 499 masterpoints or less. Games are:
- Mondays (Barbara Rosenthal) 9-11:30 AM
- Tuesdays (Brad Leach) 9-11:30 AM
To play in face-to-face Play and Learns, you must register under "Game Reservations."
Barbara Rosenthal's online (BBO) Play and Learn game is for players with less than 199 masterpoints and is at 1:10 PM on Friday.
Email Barbara in advance so she can add you to her Zoom Invitation List: bridgewithbarbara@gmail.com. Barbara will then send you Zoom login information.
Barbara encourages everyone to logon on to Zoom 1 hour in advance in case there are problems. You will also need to logon to BBO at least 20 minutes prior to the start of the game - and preferably earlier.
