Using Audrey Grant's Bridge Basics 2 - Competitive Bidding text.
When your opponents are kind enough to stay out of the auction, bridge is much easier.
But what are you to do when your opponents so rudely start bidding? Without some solid partnership understandings, you may be just wandering around in the dark.
This course covers both sides of the coin – what to do when the opponents enter your auction AND how to be the difficult opponent. Topics discussed are tenets of competitive bidding including preempts, overcalls and advances, takeout and negative doubles, and cue bids.
