Through April 7th, I have now played in 43 BBO Support Your Club Duplicates and 3 Support Your Club Day Long Events. (You know I am a computer nerd so don’t be critical)
My current stats are :
Average Score 47.32%
Total Black Points Earned: 9.16 (4.59 March – 4.57 April to date)
Total Fees Paid: $238
Total Fees Accrued to our Club $190
Total Unique Partners: 23
Number of Partners who will not Play with me again: 5
(This is probably due to my average Bridge Abilities)
Number of Partners I will not play with again: 9
(This is probably biased by my frail and flawed ego and desire to succeed)
Number of Nice People: 21 (do not ask about the missing 2)
Number of Events Played: 46
Number of Days Played: 17 (get a life! – hey I’m shut in)
- I Paid Entry Fees ($10) for an Expert to play with me. I did get some masterpoints and a good percentage. Here are the tips I got: Don’t play Cappelletti Convention because it applies so rarely and natural bidding is easier ( He probably said this because I appeared to be unable to cope with complexity) . Don’t lead away from an Ace in a Suit Contract. Worth $5? It was fun though.
- Had to go to the bathroom in the middle of a round. Discovered that my smart phone app worked perfectly well while I was there. Is this too much information?
You can see this ‘Stay at Home’ order and my love of Bridge has created a monster
Seriously, this is great fun. You all should get all in --- go see the tutorials at https://www.acbl.org/bbotutorials/ and get into this.
