Members of the ACBL Charity Committee promote participation in the ACBL charity program in the units and sanctioned club games within each district. Members encourage units and clubs to sponsor charity games in conjunction with sectional and regional tournaments. Members also take an active role in ACBL-wide charity events such as The Longest Day.
The ACBL Charity Committee is composed of two current representatives from each district. The District Director appoints two members annually to serve. These are lifetime appointments.
Nominations may be submitted to the District Vice-President by May 1 to be considered in the current year. After submission, nominees will be considered for up to 3 consecutive election cycles.
