Work in progress, trying to get pretty picturs to show.
1. With your browser goto
(The /v3/ at the end ensures you use the latest version.)
2. Click on become a member and follow the instructions.
3. Deposit, through PayPal or a credit card, to your "BBO$" account by clicking the BB$
(I recommend $12 to get you started; this will give you 3 games in Unit 556.)
4. Spend a couple of days exploring the website, playing a few games, learning the lay of the land.
