Congratulations to Ann Jennings who finished 3rd in her bracket at the Nationals and won the gold points she needed to become a Life Master! Well done!

We are delighted to announce that we will hold a Gold Rush Tournament at our Club September 30 through October 2, 2026! This is a regional tournament for Intermediate-Novice players who want to earn gold points.

Watch this space, as we will add further information as the time approaches!

The club has an extra player on hand for the Monday, Wednesday and Friday games in case someone needs a partner. So if your partner cancels at the last minute, or if you are not able to find a partner, come anyway. If you want to play and do not mind taking potluck, please come in by 10:15 and you are guaranteed to play.

A team of expert bridge players offers advanced bridge lessons on Thursday mornings from 10:00 to noon. Ginger Hebert teaches doubles and cue bids, Bonnie Angers teaches defense, April Fontana teaches play of the hand, and Jean Kiesel teaches bridge analysis. For more information, contact the club at acadianabridge@gmail.com, or talk to one of the instructors.

Beginning in March, the club will offer supervised play on Tuesday afternoons, 2:00-4:00. Novice and intermediate players can practice their bidding, play and defense, with an experienced player on hand to offer advice and suggestions as needed. The Club holds a question-and-answer session on Saturday mornings at 10:30, before the 749er game at 11:30.  Please let Tanya (337-781-5662) know if you plan to play on Saturday.
