"I cannot wait to have a session all about my favourite type of bid: Pre-emptive! Bidding is evolving to a more aggressive and competitive style these days and jamming the opponents' auctions is one of the best ways to do that. We're going to look at opening bids, overcalls, responses and maybe even a little bit on sacrifices as well. There's a lot that one can do with a weak and distributional hand, so come along and find out how best to bid them! We will start with a short presentation, followed by 12 boards to bid, then we'll analyse the auctions after each hand. There will be a break for refreshments at half time"
